For information about adding a reciprocal link on your web site to my web site, click here We are a small hobby breeder in Nebraska We'll start out by introducing ourselves. We are John and Barb. We live in Grand Island, NE. We'd like to share with you how we got started (which by the way is Barb's fault) lol... We started this journey with a Christmas present in 2000. Barb bought me a Goffins Cockatoo, I then bought her a Congo African grey for her birthday the following year. The rest is history as they say...after the gray, then came an Umbrella, after that we had to get him a girlfriend. Later down the road we, after meeting a few other bird lovers, we met up with a couple that started us in our smaller birds. So a big thank you to Jay & Cole from: Gems of The Jungle Aviary. Now it seems, every time we turn around, there is another little feathery wonder, that we just have to have. Does this sound familiar to anyone? We have managed to obtain a lot of information from other breeders and different sites on the web. I will put up some of the links to sites we've used to gather information We take pride in our birds, from babies to adults. We hand feed all of our babies except the finches (haven't had to attempt that yet). We so far have had pretty good parents. The babies are abundance weaned. We feed all our birds Roudybush pellets along with seed, nuts, egg food, fresh fruits, and vegetables. And of course they have to have their special treats.
